01 · CONTROL + VISUAL SEARCH Setup, smooth stops, steady lane position. Practice starts in lower-traffic settings, and a new step is added only when the student repeats the last one with fewer prompts.
02 · INTERSECTIONS Right-of-way, full stops, people on bikes. Turns, signals and spotting pedestrians and cyclists early, with time to decide.
03 · GRADES, CURVES & FREEWAY Foothill grades, then freeway merges. Speed for sight distance on curves, then gap choice and merging once the instructor assigns it.
04 · TEENS & ADULTS Calm instruction for every starting point. Teens on the six-hour path and adults with a permit or license, each at their own pace.
